Mission statement:
The East Brunswick Ski and Snowboard Club promotes and encourages skiing and snowboarding activities while providing a chance to meet new friends with common interests. The club will organize trips yearly for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts as well as first timers. The club is part of the East Brunswick Youth Council which is a non-profit organization—all events and programs are organized by volunteers within the club.

Qualification for membership: Must be a Youth Council member

Club Rules:

  • The club will run ski/snowboard trips - quantity of trips will depend on the weather.
  • The club will be independent of any ski slope.
  • The club will run from December through March (weather permitting).
  • We strongly recommend a lesson for first time skiers or snowboarders.
  • Registration for trips is on a first come, first served basis.
  • You have to be a member of the Youth Council to go on trips.
  • Club "headquarters" will be the East Brunswick Youth Council Teen Center located at 388 Dunhams Corner Road in East Brunswick.
  • All equipment is club member's responsibility, including privately owned equipment.
  • Club members will be kept informed of activities through e-mail.
  • All club members must complete a release and waiver of liability.
  • All members will show a commitment to skiing and snowboarding "in control" and using good judgment when on the slopes.
  • Members are encouraged to wear proper equipment and protection.
  • Bus transportation will be provided for all trips.
  • Bus cleanup is the bus passenger's responsibility. The club is not liable for any personal belongings left on the bus or at the venue.
  • No violence, gambling, smoking, alcohol, or drugs of any kind will be permitted. Any club member violating this or Youth Council's Code of Behavior will be immediately expelled.
  • There will be one adult chaperone per every ten participants (for trips).
