Activities: Youth Advocating for Animals

  • Volunteer at an Animal Shelter
  • Pet Assisted Therapy
  • Education
  • Spay/Neuter Program
  • Fundraising
  • Support trap, neuter and release program for stray cats

  • This group regularly visits the Old Bridge Animal Shelter.  Each Sunday at the shelter volunteers socialize and care for the homeless animals.  They give the animals much needed attention including feeding, exercise and cleaning kennels.  Whether it's walking dogs, playing with the cats or just spending time in the animals' presence you will make a big difference in the lives of these abandoned, stray and abused animals.  These domestic animals spend day after day in cages waiting for their forever home, and while they wait, they have caring volunteers to visit with them!
Call or email Karen Cohen if you are interested in participating in the program.  Her cell phone number is (732)325-7312 and her email address is MacC2859@aol.com.
