Social & Recreation organizes a variety of fun trips, events and programs.
Youth Council members have gone on amazing trips like Dave & Buster's, New
York, Great Adventure, Broadway Shows, Yankees Game, Medieval Times, White
Water Rafting, the Beast Speedboat Ride, Ice Skating, Ripley's Believe It or
Not, and Devils Game. Despite all the fun they have traveling around, they can
even have a good time doing things right here like Cosmic Bowling, Fairway
Golf, FunMania, and Plays-in-the-Park.
Some events are even held at the Teen Center, Daisy and Senior Center like
Karaoke Night, a Poker Tournament, Video Game Tournament, Poetry Night,
Billiard Tournament and Ice Cream Social. They organize events like the annual
Variety Show, Sports Day, a Comedy Show and Hypnotist show.
Think about it, would you rather be home on the weekends watching TV, playing
video games or bored of the same old hangout spots like the mall? Wouldn't you
rather join the Youth Council and enjoy the wonderful opportunity to meet new
people and go places you have always wanted to?
